Are you a movie lover and watch movies all the time? This quiz is for you, guess the names...
Looks like Ayushmann Khurrana is never going to get rid of roles associated with women. First, Dream Girl and now Doctor G; though his new movie is not about Ayushmann turning into a female, the trailer promises a worth-watching film.
Directed by Anurag Kashyap's sister Anubhuti Kashyap, the film is going to be a game changer in Bollywood and of course, for those who believe only a woman should be a gynecologist.
Ayushmann Aces as Doctor G in New Movie, Trailer Out!
The Badhaai Ho actor himself introduced the trailer with a very humorous caption," Gynaecology department ki har ek naari, padegi Doctor G pe bhaari!."
It begins with an obvious scenario that every gyno encounters but a bit different as Ayushmann is that gynecologist. Visiting a male gyno is a not-so-obvious thing among women.
So as expected, the woman's husband misunderstood what Ayushmann was trying to do. Then the trailer shows how Ayushmann ( Uday Gupta) struggles to get his dream field but ended up being a gyno.
His fate, like always, put him in a comedy situation. He is the only male student in the gynecology department and then the fun begins.
The movie has hilarious dialogues like 'Jo mere pass hai hi nahi uska illaj kaise karunga' and there's a scene where Shefali says 'You have to lose the male touch.'
Many more such dialogues will make you laugh but also force you to think about a male gyno's struggle.
On the other hand, you will see Rakul Preet Singh in the role of a senior student, Shefali Shah as the professor, and Sheeba Chaddha as Ayushmann's mother.
From start to end, the trailer of Doctor G is very interesting and will make you watch the movie.
Doctor G Shot in 'City of Lakes' Bhopal
The script, story, lead character, and shooting location; everything is very close to Ayushmann.
The movie was shot during a pandemic and playing a doctor's role made Ayushmann feel honored. He also said that for one more time he will get to enjoy the hostel life.
For a perfect vibe, filmmakers chose Bhopal as a shooting destination. Shooting began during the pandemic. During the shooting, he enjoyed the beauty and calm weather of Bhopal.
He once shared a clip of India's largest mosque Taj-ul-Masajid. Though he did not visit the mosque, he appreciated the mosque's beauty as Khoobsoorat, Ruhaani.
Doctor G has the best actors and the story is unique too. Hopefully, the audience will shower the same love as they showed in Dream Girl. Wait till October 14 to check out the full movie.
