The six-decades-long legacy, Filmfare Awards, was back with its 67th edition yesterday and honored the best of Hindi Cinema.

Something else happened at the event which grabbed the audience’s attention. Vicky-Katrina opened up about their marriage secret and was also caught stealing a kiss during the red carpet event.

On the other hand, Disha Patani, Ranveer Singh, and Arjun Kapoor gave electrifying stellar performances. Above all, winners took the centre stage.

67th Filmfare Awards 2022 Highlights

The event was organized in Bandra Kurla Complex at Jio World Convention Centre. From Bollywood legend Anil Kapoor to Miss Universe 2021 Harnaaz Sandhu, all the big celebrities were present.

Ranveer-Deepika’s Emotional Moment

The ‘83’ actor took the trophy home for the Best Actor in Leading Role (Male).  His wife Deepika was also present on the stage to make that moment memorable.

He got emotional while receiving the trophy and thanked his wife for immense support in his acceptance tough.

Vicky’s Winning Moment

Vicky Kaushal won everyone’s hearts with his performance and also grabbed a trophy.

He won the award for Best Actor by critics’ choice for the movie Sardar Udham. It was his first Filmfare.

The actor said it was a tribute to Irrfan Khan and he missed him so much.

Katrina Kaif was looking gorgeous in a green saree she wore for the 67th Filmfare Award ceremony. But for fans, the biggest moment was when Katrina revealed the truth about their private wedding.

Sardar Udham and Shershaah Won Most Awards

Shoojit Sircar’s Sardar Udham took 9 trophies in multiple categories. The film won for the best screenplay, best sound design, best VFX, cinematography, and background score.

It is also the best film as per critics and Vicky Kaushal won the best actor award for the same.

On the other hand, Siddharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani starring Shershaah Movie was second in the list of most Filmfare awards yesterday.

The movie bagged 7 awards and was honored as the Best Film of the year. Director Vishnuvardhan got the best director award for Shershaah. Other categories in which it won are:

  • Best Music Album
  • Best Playback singer ( Male)- B Praak for Mann Bharryaa
  • Best Playback singer ( Female)- Asees Kaur for Raatan Lambiyan
  • Best Action
  • Best Editing

Kriti Sanon is Best Actress

The ‘Mimi’ star was looking like a dream lady at the event in a red thigh-slit gown she wore for the 67th Filmfare.

But, she was the one who could not sleep yesterday as her dream came true. She won the Best Actor award in a leading role for her brilliant performance in the movie Mimi.
